What a beautiful analogy Kerani! I remember turning 30 so well. I had a wonderland party to celebrate - I was dressed as a fairy!
I didn’t enter motherhood until a few years after... things softened and changed then, comfort became important for the first time and love, love became such an anchor in my decisions.
Thanks Claire, I’m actually having a Hobbit-themed birthday party this weekend! My thought is that since I can’t make it to a renaissance faire this summer due to the baby, I’ll have a mini ren faire picnic in my backyard. Plus it seems appropriate to celebrate my 30th by dressing up like fantasy creatures 😆
