I also feel the most grounded when I’m writing regularly-it really is as important as eating healthy or getting enough sleep for my well being. Also, your photos are lovely!

Completely agree! Creative wellness is just as important as physical or mental.

"Writing makes me feel like myself" is exactly how I feel too. I feel so lost when I have periods of time when I'm not able to write because of life and kids and all the things!

Completely agree! There’s something so soothing about it

I completely resonate with your feelings of swirling obsessive thoughts of creativity me projects with young kids and not having to space to nurture them, it make you feel like you’re going crazy. I like the audio to accompany the article, thank you 🧡

It’s dizzying isn’t it? Obsessive is a good way to describe it. Even just taking a hour to myself can make such a difference - and it’s better for my mothering also, because I’m able to be more present when I’m not distracted by my own head

It is a pretty intense feeling, unrequited creativity, but it’s also a wonderful to know that even with a completely different way of existing with now being a mother that the spark is still so intense. It means we’re still there underneath the lack of sleep and the constant feeling of losing oneself.

That is such a beautifully poetic way of putting it ♥️ unrequited creativity
